Owing to problems ranging from environmental pollution to lifestyle factors, people of all age groups are facing hair related problems. From dry & frizzy hair to baldness & thinning- there are all kinds of issues, at times leading to hair replacement too.
There are many products available in the market which claim to regain the glory of your hair but not all of them are genuine, neither they cater to all hair problems.
There are many natural products, easily available to us, that work wonders as a hair mask. Here we will discuss a few DIY hair masks that you & your hair will surely love.
1. OLIVE OIL & EGG MASK FOR DRY HAIR:

This mask will not only keep hair moisturized but also the scalp clean.
Ingredients & their nutritional benefits-
- Virgin Olive Oil- locks the moisture in the hair
- Raw Egg- provides proteins, clean hair & scalp, moisturizes
- Honey- provides vitamins, minerals & moisturizes
Directions-
- Beat 2 eggs.
- Add 5 tbsp of virgin Olive Oil.
- Add 1 tbsp of honey.
Mix all three ingredients well. Apply it all over the hair & leave for 20-25 minutes. After this, rinse thoroughly.
2. AVOCADO & HONEY MASK FOR DRY & DAMAGED HAIR:

This mask is beneficial for deep conditioning of frizzy, damaged hair & stimulating the scalp.
Ingredients & their nutritional benefits-
- Ripe Avocado- provides vitamin E, has antibacterial properties
- Olive Oil- is the best natural moisturizer
- Honey- provides essential vitamins and minerals
Directions-
- Take pulp of 1 ripe Avocado.
- Add 2 tbsp of Olive oil.
- Mix 1 tbsp of honey.
Mix all the ingredients to a smooth paste. Apply on the hair & leave for 20-25 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with a gentle shampoo.
3. BANANA & HONEY MASK FOR WEAK & DAMAGED HAIR:

This mask does wonders on weak & damaged hair.
Ingredients & their nutritional benefits-
- Banana-provides carbohydrates, potassium, iron and Vitamin A
- Honey- possesses natural vitamins, minerals and moisturizers
Directions-
- Take pulp of 1 ripe banana.
- Add 1 tbsp of honey.
Blend the two ingredients well and apply on the hair. Leave it for 15-20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly & let it dry naturally.
4. FENUGREEK & YOGURT MASK FOR FRIZZY & WEAK HAIR:

This is a miracle mask for frizzy, weak & damaged hair.
Ingredients & their nutritional benefits-
- Fenugreek- has deep conditioning qualities, contains antioxidants
- Yogurt-is full of proteins & lactic acid
Directions-
- Take 2 tbsp of fenugreek powder.
- Add 4-5 tbsp of full fat yogurt.
- Add 1 tbsp of olive oil.
Mix all the ingredients well in a bowl, then cover & set aside for 2-3 hours. Apply it well on the scalp & hair & leave it for 30 minutes. Wash it with a gentle shampoo thoroughly.
5. OATMEAL & MILK MASK FOR DRY HAIR & UNHEALTHY SCALP:

This mask works towards healthy scalp & provides soft, silky hair.
Ingredients & their nutritional benefits-
- Oatmeal- provides vitamins & beta-glucan
- Milk-has vitamin A, biotin & potassium
Directions-
- Take 1 tbsp Oatmeal.
- Add 1 tbsp milk.
- Add 1 tbsp of Olive oil.
Blend all of these to make a smooth paste. Apply all over the hair and leave it for 20 minutes; wash thoroughly.
6. COCONUT & HONEY MASK FOR DRY, LIMP HAIR:

This mask helps greatly in moisturizing the hair & bringing the shine back.
Ingredients & their nutritional benefits-
- Coconut oil- locks the moisture
- Honey- possesses natural vitamins, minerals and moisturizers
Directions-
- Take 2 tbsp of Coconut Oil & 1 tbsp of Olive oil.
- Add ½ cup honey.
Coat the hair well with this mixture & leave it for 30 minutes. Wash it well after that.
