ADVANCED HAIR STUDIO
When you witness your hair strands lying on the pillowcase, stuck in the comb, decorating the floor, clogging the drain while washing it, your sense of panic knows no limit! You take it for a certainty that baldness or acute thinning has hit you. But is it true? Is it that excessive hair fall always indicates irreversible hair condition?
As it is correctly said a little knowledge is dangerous, you are drawing conclusions without knowing all the facts. According to hair experts, hair loss is triggered due to many reasons and hence it is not to be presumed to be a condition that is likely to be temporary hair loss.
Hair growth is a complicated process and it depends on numerous factors. Therefore, if any parameter goes haywire, then hair loss is triggered.
For example, a balanced diet fulfills all the nutritional demands of the follicles and any imbalance in it, will naturally lead to hair fall.
When strands leave your scalp due to such reasons then it is referred to as temporary hair loss, in which the follicles are not damaged. These conditions can be overcome and then the growth takes place again.
When hair fall is triggered by predisposed genetic causes then the follicles are also affected and they miniaturize. This condition cannot be overcome without extensive hair treatment and this is termed as permanent hair loss.
You can know that the excessive hair fall is temporary if you have any of the below given conditions.
If you have undergone sudden trauma or are undergoing severe emotional stress then it is natural to witness great hair loss. During such time many strands shift from growing phase to the resting phase and this results in temporary hair loss.
During pregnancy the hair becomes healthy but the reversal takes place after the baby’s birth. This temporary hair loss is very aptly termed Postpartum hair loss.
There are certain diseases like Thyroid and Diabetes that cause hair fall in huge numbers. Therapies such as chemotherapy is a well known reason for acute hair loss.
If you are on a crash diet and/or over exercising then also hair loss is triggered. Dieting deprives the follicles of nutrients thus they shed more quickly.
Lots of hair care and styling products have chemicals in them this negatively impacts the hair’s health, eventually leading to hair loss.
If you have any of the above conditions then you can rest assured that it is not permanent hair loss. But even if you are suffering temporary hair loss you should consult a hair expert and seek hair fall treatment. If the initial hair loss is not arrested and reversed, then the negligence may lead to acute hair loss. And once the follicles are affected, the process of reviving them is even more complicated and time taking. It’s better to act fast and save your strands before it is too late!
